Why Develop?

We’re on the same page.
In 1987 Vital Office Supplies (PTY) LTD was awarded distribution rights for Minolta (Camera Company of Japan) range of office automation products in South Africa, which, in those days consisted solely of paper (monochrome) analogue photocopiers. Shortly thereafter the company name was changed to Reef Minolta (PTY) LTD in acknowledgement of our newly-awarded distributorship status. Reef Business Systems (PTY) LTD.- transformed in name, empowered in our BEE rating and in our 33rd year.
The modest success which we have achieved over the years has largely been as a natural consequence of the good fortune we had in continually adding above-average quality people to our ever-growing staff compliment, and vitally, our stated policy of “under-promise but over-deliver” in every aspect of our operations.
We boast a sizeable team of Field Technical Engineers – often outnumbering our sales force – an endorsement of our commitment to provide the highest achievable standard of service to our burgeoning customer base.
We market the full range of  Digital Bizhubs, capable of copying and printing in traditional monochrome and also in full colour with their ability to double as on-line, network printers, scanners and facsimile transceivers, should the need arise.
Our ROWE range of Wide-Format Digital Scanners/ Printers/ Copiers, exclusively imported by our sister company ROWE Repro Systems (SA) (PTY) LTD, has completely taken the market storm having racked up 40% of current sales volumes in the 13 short years of its availability.
Develop have recently obtained the distribution/service rights to a number of new products. Many of these products complement our existing infrastructure, such as the Avaya range of switches and telephony systems. Develop are capable of handling any size installation of the Avaya range with the backing of the Westcon Group of companies ensuring complete quality control through the entire process. Products such as Ysoft and Equitrac are designed to reduce your overall paper consumption by monitoring and reporting on the paper usage, with the added value of being able to “bill-back” the usage to the end users/ departments. This is in direct competition with our core business of producing paper; however we feel it is the correct approach to our customer base in ensuring they are reducing costs, monitoring users and maximising their bottom line.
The marketing of leading-edge products backed by top-drawer on-site service, remains our recipe for both our, and our customers’, continued success.
